Dirug Samuel is an Experienced innovator with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. Skilled in Gender Advocacy, Policy Development, Gender-Based Violence programming, and Leadership. He is a Certified Gender-Based Violence Instructor with six (6) Years’ Experience of working in Humanitarian and Development Space. Hall of Famer Award Recipient by the Nigerian Volunteers Award 2021, Icon of Social Change Award, Obama Young African Leader, YALI Alumni Cohort 12, Fellow at the Federation of International Gender & Human Rights and the Founder/Executive Director of Big Family 360 Foundation.
About SmartRR:
Smart Reporting and Referral (SmartRR) is a mobile application that allows people to report FGM/GBV cases, and also connect them to the nearest service providers (Police, NGOs, Hospitals, Lawyers) from their smart and basic phones.
SmartRR is a virtual one stop shop for Gender Based Violence and Sexual Reproductive Health Services. These means that all forms of services can be accessed by survivors and adolescent girls.
To this day over 1270 cases were reported with a minimum of 2.5 minutes user engagement. SmartRR also allows adolescent young people to track their menstrual cycle, consult with medical doctors anonymously and access relevant information on sexual reproductive health.
